The mining archaeology library of the DBM Bochum is a branch of the montan.dok library. Since 2017, it has been located in the same building as the RUB Institute of Archaeology. It comprises over 7600 monographs, 320 journals and offers a comprehensive collection of more than 12900 individual articles, which have been collected and bound thematically in "Variabände".
The mining archaeology library is a specialized library with literature on mining archaeology, mining history, archaeometry and archaeometallurgy, but also related sciences such as geosciences, linguistics and archaeology.
